This project and website
is owned and operated by Jane Mark, Phil Basten and Shari Thomas. Three zany entrepreneurs
who love having fun and have been online for longer than we care to divulge. For one
thing, it tends to make us feel really old. Anyway, just in case you have nothing better
to do and, you'd like to get to know us better, here's the low down, the skinny, the
insider scoop.
Below you will see two radically different bios on each owner. A fun, lighter side and the
more serious side. We believe every person has an inner child inside who needs to come out
and play at times.
Jane Mark
Jane is the CEO of JPE Advertising. A unique
online advertising agency that prides itself on thinking outside the box and delivering
radically different advertising services to the internet community. Jane is also
co-creator and co-star of the highly acclaimed online radio show, Joe? Yes, Mable? Are We
Rich Yet?
On the lighter side: Jane's
alter-ego, Mable:
Mable was born under a cabbage patch, in downtown New York City, a long time ago
(although she hates to admit it). Mable is an accomplished writer with published
works proudly on display at her local day-care center. She is also a talented musician and
owned a gourmet food cart in Central Park, where she sang melodies to customers so they
wouldn't feel bad at being over charged.
Jane's serious side:
Jane is the business partner of JPE Advertising and is well known in New York
City for her ability to develop business assets. As president of JED Management Corp, A
New York City Real Estate Firm, she ran a multi million dollar company as the General
Partner of 13 Limited Partnerships. If you want to learn more about developing your
business and taking it to the next level, Jane's the person you want to talk to.
Phil Basten
Phil is the President of JPE Advertising. He
is an ideas machine and is directly responsible for many of the web's most innovative
advertising tools.
He developed the first fully integrated safelist hosting script and the web's first
safelist blaster software.
Phil's lighter
side: His alter-ego, Joe:
Joe was born on a distant star, in a galaxy far, far away. He was fed on goats
milk, straight from the goat, which probably explains a lot of things. Born with a
creative flair for the dramatic, he started writing and creating ads when he was 12,
however his friends at school didn't appreciate them. Dejected but undeterred he took up
studying human nature and became a professional counselor. He started practising on
himself but that didn't lead anywhere so, as a last resort, he took up internet marketing
and it proved a match.
Phil's serious side:
Phil is the marketing genius behind JPE Advertising. He is widely know as the
"Ad-Man" and writes creative website sales copy for numerous clients. He is
co-creator and Co-star of the Joe and Mable Show. Both Jane and Phil write the sketches
for the show, but it's Phil's zany outlook on life that makes them really funny. If you
want to know what the show is all about click here. If you are looking to market your business
effectively online, Phil's the guy to talk to.
Shari Thomas
Shari is the creator of AskShari.com
"Your Internet Business Mentor" as well as co-author of "Setting Up
Affiliate Showcase". Her specialty is mentoring aspiring marketers as well as having
a knack for being in the right place at the right time. She has been involved with 5 very
successful program launches over the last 5 years.
On the lighter side.
Shari was born to round up stuff, having sprung to life in cheyenne Wy. She tried
rounding up herself but it wasn't all that profitable, so she tried her hand at rounding
up clients and quickly found her niche. With 3 distinct careers in restaurant management,
electronics, and specialty meat processing, Shari developed a unique sense of the bizarre
and diverse. Not bad for someone with a degree in Music Education who frequently performs
arias in her church choir and serves hambugers after each performances. Shari's dream is
to retire and play golf. She is currently working on an electronic golf machine that hits
holes in one for her so she can relax and take it easy.
Shari's serious side:
Shari has been "quiet supporter" for several ventures. You can check
out some of these ventures here.
Shari has always been known for her ability to find new and interesting things. Never
afraid of a challenge, she served in the USMC as a 1st Lt. She also led a specialty meat
processing business to international fame and was named Purveyor of the Year by Chefs di
Cuisine. When you want to know if something will work... Ask Shari!
